Peasedown St John Methodist Church

The youth group (ages 11 and up) meet on the fourth Sunday of each month from 5.30pm to 7pm at Peasedown Methodist Church.

We meet for games and fun or just to sit and have a chat.

It is a time for young people to enjoy each others' company and possibly to work together on a project to raise money for a nominated cause, e.g., people in Africa and also to be aware of God's love surrounding them.

We meet to share breakfast, and discuss and pray about concerns, worries and achievements and answers to prayer concerning our children.

The group meets weekly from 9am to 10am on Mondays in the dining room of the church and is open to all parents.

We are a small group of ladies who enjoy knitting and want to spread God's blessing using our knitting needles!
Our knitting process is a spiritual practice which embodies our thoughts and prayers for the receiver.

Do you like knitting? If so, then why not come along and join us. We meet on alternate Tuesdays at 10:30am.

We meet for a cup of tea and to chat at 3pm on Tuesdays. Some people also knit.
This group is open to people of any age.

We are mixed bunch. We meet between 1 and 1.30 and have a chat, then enjoy studying the Bible from 1.30-2.30 and pray from 2.30-3.00pm

Meets on the first and third Wednesdays of the month.

Our Fellowship is a practical Bible Study Group. We study the text to understand its background and meaning and consider how the message is applicable to our lives today.

KidsZone meets every Thursday during term-time at the Methodist Church, from 6 till 7.15pm. We are a Christian group affiliated to the Urban Saints Organisation and all leaders and helpers have CRB disclosures. The satefy of your child is of paramount importance to us. We ask for a weekly subscription of £1 per week for each child.

Lunch club meets on the first and third Friday of the month at 1pm in the dining room of the church.

Helpers meet at around 10am to prepare and cook lunch.

Participants start arriving from 12.15pm. Most are happy to sit and chat before and after the
meal.

A special Christmas lunch is held in December.

We remember those who are ill, celebrate birthdays etc.

We meet for coffee or tea and a chat. Home made cakes are available to buy.

No - it's nothing like school! Yes - we do meet on a Sunday!

We are a lively part of the Church family and possibly the noisiest!

On the first Sunday of each month, starting at 10.30am, we all worship together. Sometimes we like to teach everyone a new action song we have learnt. If it's your birthday month you get a sweet and everybody sings "Happy Birthday" to you.
