We celebrate children and families as a vital part of our church family, offering joyful, faith-filled activities for all ages
Meet Julie Winstanley, our Children and Family Worker.

Julie works with a team of volunteers from the church family running groups throughout the week for children of all ages, from babies through to secondary school aged young people.
​
Our prayer is that every child and young person we meet with will learn about God, personally meet Jesus, and understand that they are important and a valued child of God.

ALL AGES
Harbour is our Sunday morning children's ministry. It's a place of safety and fits in with the church's boat logo and the themes of our weeknight children's groups named Lighthouse & Lagoon.
Children join in worship for the first 15 minutes of worship before leaving for a time focused on children and God. A time for fun, bible focus and prayer based learning to help children grow in their faith.

PRE-SCHOOL
SEEDS
Seeds is our weekly group for all pre-school children (0-5 years) and their parents or carers.
​
Seeds is open each Wednesday morning (term time only) from 10.00am to 11.30am and offers a mixture of free play, crafts, Christian stories, snacks, singing and dancing.
KEY STAGE 2
LIGHTHOUSE
Lighthouse is our weekly club for children in Years 4 - 6 at primary school.
Lighthouse is a bright and welcoming space where children can explore faith, friendship, and fun. Through games, stories, crafts, and prayer, Lighthouse helps young hearts grow in confidence and discover God’s love in everyday life.

Lighthouse is open every Thursday (term-time only) from 6pm - 7pm.
KEY STAGE 3
LAGOON
Lagoon is our weekly club for children in Years 7 - 9 at secondary school.
​
Lagoon offers a safe and engaging environment for young people to
grow in faith, enjoy fellowship, and have fun together. Sessions include Bible-based discussions, interactive games, and opportunities to serve.
​
Lagoon is open every Thursday (term-time only) from 6pm - 7pm.
ALL AGES
MESSY CHURCH
Messy Church is a way for all ages to discover the bible together and share the love of God. It is fun and welcoming to everyone. It includes a snack time, a time of gathering and story telling, and crafts and activities to explore bible stories and prayer.
​
Messy Church is on a Friday from 3:30pm - 5pm towards the end of each term Christmas, Easter and July.
​
Please note children must be accompanied by an adult.
ALL AGES
MESSY BREAKFAST CHURCH
Messy Breakfast Church is held on the first Sunday of the month and
is an interactive time of sharing and worship.
​
We join together for breakfast, starting from 9:30am, then worship commences at 10:15am with songs followed by the main service at 10:30am.
The service includes messy crafts and activities for those who wish
to join in.
